The responses and cheers of support I've received since posting my journal last Sunday has been nearly overwhelming! I want to say a big THANK YOU to all of you who shared my journal, commissioned me, and wished us luck A Special thanks also goes out to everyone from Laguna College of Art + Design (Caroline and my alma matter) who rose up in support as well.

I'm keeping slots open for now, though know that I'm not sure as to how long I'll take in getting everything completed (I have a full time job to work around at the moment). I'll work as hard as I can to get everything done in a timely manner!

Here's the original journal and information on why I'm taking as many commissions as possible:


Since we've been engaged for years now, my fiancé and I want to get married!

There are a couple of catches though:



1. We're both women, and it isn't technically legal yet to marry each other until the supreme court lifts the stay on gay marriages in our state...

2. Even though we want to get 'married' anyway ('civil-unioned' just doesn't have the same ring to it...), we don't exactly have a lot of money. We have very little support to have anything but a very simple ceremony and we'd really like to have one in Yosemite National Park, a place that means a lot to us.



That's where you all come in. As much as I'm swallowing my pride, I'm asking for all the help I can get.
